Electric scooters seem to be everywhere these days, and they’re being used by kids and adults alike for transportation and recreation. Imagine gliding through space with the wind in your hair, all the while generating no CO2 or other emissions. Electric scooters generally come in two varieties: sit-down and stand-up. Some scooters require an initial push to get them going. Typically, electric scooters can achieve a speed of 10 to 15 mph, for a continuous ride time of approx. 30 to 40 minutes, depending on battery and motor. Speed is controlled by a grip throttle located on the handle bar. Recharge by simply plugging into a standard electrical outlet.
